Background & Experience

Amanda is The Bonadio Group’s Partner in charge of the Perry and Southern Tier division of the firm. In public accounting since 1985, her expertise is providing a full range of accounting and tax services to a variety of small to medium sized businesses including profit enhancement and turnaround consulting, debt placement, financial plans and projections, interim controller services, computer advisory services, as well as income tax preparation and planning. The clients she serves range from small business start ups to closely help companies with 100 or more employees. In addition, a substantial portion of her practice includes personal income tax preparation and planning, and providing assistance with estate, retirement, and wealth management issues for individual clients.

Amanda has overseen the significant growth in our Southern Tier market by being a focal point for organizing and bringing firm resources to the needs of her clients. Given the small home town feel of the practice she manages, it’s not unusual for clients to just walk in, grab a cup of coffee, and take a few minutes of time to talk about a particular financial issue, or even just share some family news.

Amanda started with TBG in January of 1994. Prior to that, she worked for a small CPA firm in Rochester and was a freelance controller for a variety of businesses.

On the Personal Side

In addition to being a top notch CPA, Amanda and her husband, Calvin, own and manage a 200 head dairy farm. She is mother to three children, Leah, William, and Lawrence, and after the cows and the kids are put to bed, you’ll find her sitting before her cherished piano, playing Bach, Beethoven and Jerry Lee Lewis.

She enjoys restoring furniture and finding new and unique uses for old things. She is also an antique buff and is currently in search of a real suit of armor for her collection.
