He is the partner in charge of Management Advisory Services and specializes in the business and accounting needs of tax-exempt, government and healthcare providers. In fact, he has provided accounting, audit, strategic and business planning, operational planning, and a vast array of other services to more than 200 tax-exempt, municipal and healthcare organizations during his career. Throughout New York State, Jerry has earned a reputation as the "Dean" of not for profit/tax exempt consultants. He is widely known for his innovations and advice in Board structure and governance, benchmarking of best practices, maximizing funding streams, and for his public commentary and stands on issues of importance to tax-exempts. Jerry is a much sought after speaker and author of a monthly column in the Rochester Business journal. He is also one the firm’s key mentors and trainers, with a particular interest in developing younger staff to assume ever increasing roles and responsibilities within the firm. Close to a third of TBG’s partners have at one time or another worked for Jerry, and he continues to foster and infuse TBG staff with a spirit of enthusiasm, accountability, professionalism and dedication to our & More philosophy. Before joining The Bonadio Group in 1986, Jerry began his career and spent 12 years at Arthur Andersen LLP. Education
Jerry and his wife Betsy have two children in college, William and Julie. Besides being a season ticket holder for the Buffalo Bills, Rochester Red Wings and Rochester Americans, Jerry enjoys downhill and cross country skiing, ice-skating, golf and tennis. He also collects and sells antiques and is President of Archie's Antiques and Collectibles. |
