Background & Experience

Jim is the Partner in charge of the Buffalo Office’s Accounting & Tax Services and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His responsibilities include client service, new business development, training staff and promoting the firm in the Western New York Business Community.

From a client perspective, Jim has earned an outstanding reputation in the Buffalo market for seeing beyond providing just accounting and compliance services. He is a consultant and advisor that takes special pride in empowering companies with the ability to see where they are now and where they want to go. He also has the experience to guide them on how to get there. He believes that a strong client relationship is the cornerstone of providing superb client service, a sentiment that is reflected in his business approach.

Mentoring and guiding staff is another key aspect of Jim’s responsibilities. Continually working with staff to help them grow and develop, he maintains an open door policy and is always available to assist staff with questions or issues as they arise.

Jim was affiliated with PriceWaterhouse prior to his local accounting firm experience and was the Managing Partner of Fiddler and Company LLP until its merger with The Bonadio Group.

On the Personal Side

Jim is often referred to around the office as a “people person”. Easy to approach both in and out of the office, he seems to know everyone and has the wonderful ability to remember your name and use it often in conversation.

Jim and his wife Gerry have five children; Jason, a teenager; Jenna, a student at the University of Michigan; and Jeff, Joe, and Jim, all recent college graduates. They live in Clarence and share their home with two cats, Jazz and Ophelia.

He also enjoys golf, weight training and traveling with Gerry to visit the kids.
