Background & Experience

Mario is TBG’s partner in charge of our Healthcare/Tax-Exempt Team, and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Mario has provided professional services to a wide range of healthcare and tax-exempt organizations, including financial statement audits, special project consulting, and other professional engagements that have helped his clients effectively solve problems and ensure their long-term success and viability. During his tenure, Mario has been a key driver in making TBG one of New York State's premier CPA firms for Healthcare/TE’s.

Mario is a professional driven by high standards of excellence. He plays a key role in the firm’s staff development and mentoring programs, and enjoys working with his staff, encouraging them to achieve success in their careers.

Prior to joining The Bonadio Group in 1990, Mario worked at Arthur Andersen as a senior audit manager specializing in healthcare and tax-exempt organizations.

On the Personal Side

Mario, his wife Linda and their two children, Jessica and Mario, reside in Pittsford. He enjoys golf and cycling. Mario’s most momentous golfing occasion was when he won two cars, on a hole-in-one, at a client’s charity golf tournament. Being the good accountant that he is, he immediately sold the cars to have the cash to pay his income taxes when they came due.
