Personal Quote
“The most important thing we do for our clients is provide them with honest advice, even in difficult situations. With honest advice, we can work with our clients as a team, accessing where they are now and developing realistic strategies to help them meet their personal and business goals.” Background & ExperiencePhil joined The Bonadio Group in 2001, when he merged his cost segregation business into The Bonadio Group. Now, as Partner in Charge of The Bonadio Group’s Buffalo office, and as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Phil’s responsibilities include client services and administrative duties as well as continuing to lead the firm’s cost segregation line of business (MS Consultants, LLC). He is considered a national expert in the field of cost segregation studies, has participated in over 4,000 studies, and is a regular speaker at real estate and accounting seminars and conferences. Phil’s dedication to his clients is reflected in the extraordinary effort he brings to helping them minimize their tax burdens. This dedication has been realized by his success in building one of the country’s largest cost segregation practices, and the continued growth of TBG’s operations in Buffalo, where the firm has now become one of the Top 10 largest in the area. Prior to joining The Bonadio Group, Phil had over twenty years experience, including serving as an audit partner for a major western New York CPA firm, where he specialized in providing accounting and business advisory services to manufacturing, distribution, construction and auto dealer clients. Education
A real “Mann” on the go, Phil is always eating on the run. His favorite foods are whatever is available on anyone’s desk, but ask someone who has joined him for lunch and they will tell you that his real favorite is meatloaf. Phil has a daughter, Jennifer, and lives in Hamburg, NY. Phil loves to play and has been a Buffalo Sabres season ticket holder for years, as evidenced by his seats in the front row. He also has a passion for golf, and according to his friends, thinks he’s a little better than he really is. He also squeezes in a game of tennis now and then too. |
