“Our key differentiators? We posses a wide variety of experience with leading edge thinking,
technical expertise, and a variety of tax and business risks and situations.”
Tom is a Partner in TBG's Tax Department, specializing in tax planning and preparation for the complex and sophisticated
needs of the firm’s high net worth clients and the companies they own. He is an expert in both international and multi-state
tax issues, and an innovator in the development of tax minimization strategies accommodating Federal and state compliance.
Tom’s exposure to and experience with a wide variety of tax and business risks makes him an invaluable asset to his
clients. For companies thinking about or operating abroad, he brings a combination of hands-on experience and research
capabilities that are unmatched in Upstate New York. For the owners/shareholders, he possesses an uncanny ability to see
opportunities for tax minimization where other only see problems.
He is also a key participant in the firm’s training and mentoring program, as one of his greatest traits is his ability
to formulate a great technical solution and explain it, adjusting for their level of technical knowledge, or even their
desire to know the details.
Prior to joining The Bonadio Group Tom was a Tax Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Rochester and the partner in
charge of the Upstate Tax Practice at Arthur Andersen.
