Self-Disclosure

Any organization that receives Medicaid funding should be well aware of New York State’s drive to tighten Medicaid’s purse strings. Between now and the inevitable audit your organization faces, there is a window of opportunity to avoid harsh penalties and the loss of funding by self-disclosing and correcting any improper billing practices. Compliance Program Assessment, Development and Implementation

The Bonadio Group has developed a comprehensive approach to the development of a compliance environment for health and human services providers. We can work with you to develop a compliance plan addressing the seven elements required by government agencies and auditors, including performing an organizational risk assessment; developing a compliance plan document; and/or developing a strategic compliance plan implementation schedule.

Once your compliance plan and strategic compliance plan implementation schedule are in place, TBG can assist you with a complete list of compliance activities, ranging from selection and education of the Compliance Officer and committee members to developing an annual compliance work plan.

And, after the plan is operational, TBG will work with your compliance committee for the required ongoing monitoring and auditing activities and/or for developing plans of corrective action related to internal audit findings.
