The Bonadio Group Announces Promotions to Manager

Michael Mazur (Buffalo office) joined The Bonadio Group in 2005, and principally serves healthcare/tax-exempt organizations.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Buffalo.  Michael lives in Amherst with his wife Bethany.

Timothy Ball, CFE (Rochester office) joined The Bonadio Group in 2006, and works in The Bonadio Group’s Government, Compliance and Labor division.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Alfred University.  He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Ball also spends his time volunteering with Junior Achievement and the United Way. Tim lives in Fairport with his wife Kristie.

Erin McAllister, CPA (Rochester office) joined The Bonadio Group in 2006, and primarily serves healthcare/tax-exempt organizations. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College.  McAllister is a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  Erin lives in Penfield.

Karen Hignett, CPA (Rochester office) joined The Bonadio Group in 2002, and principally serves healthcare/tax-exempt organizations.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Accounting from St. John Fisher College.  Hignett is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Karen lives in Fairport with her husband Russell and their son Tyler. 

Peter Scheuering (Rochester office) joined The Bonadio Group in 2010, and works in The Bonadio Group’s Enterprise division as a Manager/Sharepoint Developer.  He received an AAS degree from SUNY Rockland and a BS degree from SUNY Oswego. Scheuering is a volunteer for ArtPeace. Originally from Suffern, NY Pete has lived in Rochester for 12 years and was recently married to Ellen Litzenberger. 
 
Kait Bloss, CPA (Albany office) joined The Bonadio Group in 2006, and principally serves commercial organizations.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Nazareth College.  She is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). Bloss also serves on the Board of the Capital District Chapter of NAWIC. Kait lives in Schenectady.

Kelly Saposnick, EA (Albany office) joined The Bonadio Group in 2006, and works in The Bonadio Group’s Tax division. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.  Saposnick is an enrolled agent of the Internal Revenue Service, a volunteer with Clifton Park baseball, and Vice President of the Shenendehowa Middle School Parent Teacher Association. Kelly lives in Clifton Park with her husband Eric and their three sons Dylan, Joshua and Brandon. 
 
Ariel Ammirato, CPA (Albany office) joined The Bonadio Group in 2006, and principally serves healthcare/tax-exempt organizations.  She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Siena College, graduating magna cum laude.  Ammirato is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accounts (NYSSCPA). Ariel lives in Albany.
