Background and Experience

Nick is a Municipal Consultant with The Bonadio Group’ Government, Compliance and Labor team, specializing in financial management, project development, and operational and productivity improvements for counties, cities and other municipalities in New York State.

Prior to joining Bonadio in 2010, Nick served as County Administrator for Livingston County, NY ($145 million operating budget/1100 employees); as Director of Finance and Administration for the City of Cortland NY; and as a Management Policy Specialist for the City of Syracuse, NY.

Nick brings a track record of accomplishment, experience and expertise to Bonadio’s government clients, from capital projects management to economic development, & MORE. He has earned a reputation for his successes in working with all types of stakeholders, from politicians to employees to taxpayers, with an uncanny ability to work at the crossroads of fiscal realities, fiduciary responsibilities, and ever increasing demands on services.

Nick is particularly adept at assessing opportunities, developing strategies and plans, and implementing efforts for inter-governmental relations and cooperation. His coordinative initiatives in areas such as water and sewer operations, worker compensation programs, E-911 dispatching, and departmental consolidations have saved taxpayers countless dollars during the course of his career.
