Jack B. Capron, ESQ., CPA, PFS, CFF, AEP
Jack is a principal in our Syracuse office with over 35 years of professional experience. Prior to joining TBG, he was a tax director at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Jack works with a wide scope of different industries including manufacturing, auto dealers, service, construction, and real estate. His experience includes special projects such as corporate and individual tax planning, estate planning, minimizing tax liabilities in mergers and acquisitions, maximizing tax credit planning, tax exempt planning, among other traditional tax services. Jack is designated by the AICPA as a Personal Financial Specialist and Certified in Financial Forensics. He is also an Accredited Estate Planner.
Jack received his B.S. Degree in Finance from Babson College in Massachusetts. He attended College of Law at Syracuse University to earn his law degree. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The American Associates of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Onondaga County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association. Jack is also past president of the Estate Planning Council of Central New York, past member of the campaign committee for the United Way of Central New York, a special counsel for the John Dau Foundation, past chair and elder, and member of the finance committee for the First Presbyterian Church of Skaneateles, and a past member of the Board for the Community Hospital Foundation.
