Background & Experience
Jim is the partner in charge of the Commercial Team, and a member of the Firm’s Team Leader Committee. He serves a variety of commercial clients in the manufacturing, distribution, technology, service industries, and financial institutions, including credit unions. Jim has also provided audit, consulting and related financial services to a number of public companies. Jim’s focus is on helping companies and their owners achieve their business and personal goals. Jim provides audit services to the majority of his clients and has assisted clients in obtaining and structuring financing, buying and selling business operations, valuations and estate planning.
A Buffalo native, Jim joined Bonadio in 1989, after 13 years with Arthur Andersen, LLP.

Jim and his wife Karen live in Mendon. They have 2 children, Tim and John. John is currently attending the University of Notre Dame. Some interesting things about Jim are:
he “lives” baseball in the spring and summer…he coaches his son’s team and is very active in the Honeoye Falls Mendon baseball program
in his quiet moments…he enjoys woodworking, skiing and golf
he likes a good yarn…one of his favorite authors is Jon Krakauer
he can fix your bike…his first job was repairing bicycles
