Personal Quote

“What differentiates Bonadio & Co., LLP is large firm capability delivered with small firm personality. As a National Top 100 CPA Firm, we have professionals that specialize in diverse practice areas, providing capabilities that other regional firms simply cannot match. At the same time, we deliver these services using the principles that guided the Firm when we were small: attention to detail, caring about your needs, meeting expectations “& More”, and significant involvement of our partners and principals.”

Background & Experience

Jeff is a partner in our Rochester office and one of our “homegrown” partners, having started with Bonadio right out of college. His background includes conducting financial statement audits and reviews and providing a wide range of consulting services to both public and private companies, primarily in Upstate New York. His consulting services tend to center around launching early-stage ventures, business valuation, and merger and acquisition activities.

Jeff also spent over a year as the interim controller at a technology start-up company, where he assisted in developing business plans, preparing offering memoranda and securing financing, as well as managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

Jeff serves a variety of clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, software, and professional service industries. He specializes in audits and reviews of financial statements; merger and acquisition consulting; business valuation; start-up companies; companies with complication capital structures; and developing and implementing effective internal controls and performing internal control attest services (SAS 70 reports).

Jeff is highly technical, staying abreast of new accounting and auditing pronouncements and helping his clients and the Firm implement them.  As such, he is very active in the Firm's training and quality control programs.  Jeff is also a member of the oversight committee for Bonadio Leadership University, designed to train the firm's future leaders, and heads the firm's Paperless Committee, which strives to reduce the amount of paper used by the Firm, streamline audit processes, and ensure consistency across Bonadio's various offices.
