John P. Macy, CPA
John is a Partner in Bonadio’s Tax-Exempt East division. He joins the firm with more than 20 years of Big 4 experience, most recently as an Audit Partner with KPMG.
John is an expert in providing accounting and auditing services, as well as business advisement, to a variety of clients such as not-for-profits, higher education institutions, and billion-dollar public and private international companies. As a result of this experience, John has extensive knowledge in internal controls, risk management, business transactions, OMB Circular A-133, and employee benefit plans.
John received his B.B.A. from Siena College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves on the Board of the Parsons Child and Family Center, a mental-health facility for children and families in crisis.
