Background & Experience

Mario is the partner in charge of our Healthcare/Tax-Exempt Team-West, and a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors and Team Leader Committee. Mario has provided professional services to a wide range of healthcare and tax-exempt organizations throughout his career, including financial statement audits, special project consulting, and other professional engagements that have helped his clients effectively solve problems and ensure their long-term success and viability. During his tenure, Mario has been a key driver in making Bonadio one of New York State's premier CPA firms for Healthcare/TE’s.

Mario is a professional driven by high standards of excellence. He plays a key role in the Firm’s staff development and mentoring programs, and enjoys working with his staff, encouraging them to achieve success in their careers.

Prior to joining Bonadio in 1990, Mario worked at Arthur Andersen as a senior audit manager specializing in healthcare and tax-exempt organizations.

On the Personal Side

Mario, his wife Linda and their two children, Jessica and Mario, reside in Pittsford. Some interesting things about Mario are:

his most momentous golfing occasion…he won two cars on a hole in one at a client’s charity golf tournament

he’s a good accountant…he immediately sold the cars he won to have the cash to pay his income taxes when they came due

he likes adventure…his favorite movies are the James Bond Series, his favorite TV show is ‘24’
