Background & Experience

Part of Bonadio’s Government, Compliance, and Labor Division, Randy Shepard has been with Bonadio since 1997. 

Randy provides business, accounting and auditing services for a variety of clients such as municipalities, public authorities, local development corporations and tax-exempt organizations. As a result of this work, Randy has developed extensive experience with respect to compliance and reporting requirements for these organizations, knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements, the NYS Public Authorities and Accountability Act, as well as the evaluation and design of internal accounting systems.

Randy lives in Fairport with his wife Tara and their three children: Samantha, Brandon and Katrina.  Some places you might find Randy are:

at his children's events...whether its cub scouts, practice or a game, you'll see him being part of what his kids enjoy.

working around the house...he loves to do projects around the house, from small to large, which is a good escape from his day-to-day duties at the Firm.

playing around...whether its poker, softball or golf, he enjoys all kinds of sports and plays them when he can
