Background & Experience

Roger joined Bonadio in 1995 as a manager in their Tax Department and became a tax partner in 2000. In 1999, Roger co-founded MS Consultants, LLC, a division of Bonadio, and spends most of his time in this area. MS Consultants specializes in cost segregation studies and other innovative tax saving ideas for real estate owners and developers. In addition to providing cost segregation studies, Roger serves as tax consultant for several large real estate builders, subcontractors and owners, fast food operators, and medical professionals.

Roger’s primary responsibilities center upon bringing his clients innovative ideas. He accomplishes this through keeping abreast of tax law changes, expertise garnered through real life field experiences, and a competitive attitude when it comes to moving beyond compliance into tax minimization.

Prior to Bonadio, Roger was a senior manager with a regional accounting firm.

On the Personal Side

Roger and his wife Jody have three teenage children. Some interesting things about Roger are:

he has a story for every occasion…ask him about how he got to have dinner with the President and Mrs. Bush

you’ll often find him on the baseball fields…as a travel softball coach for his daughter’s team

his favorite pet is Baxter…a defiant mutt who makes up for his lack of training with his superior attitude - viewing the family as his servants

he likes a good yarn…his favorite movie is ‘The Usual Suspects’, favorite show, ‘24’
