Background & Experience

Part of Bonadio since 1988 when he graduated from college, Scott works with commercial clients and is a leader in Construction Companies Team. During his tenure, Scott rose through the ranks to become one of Bonadio’s youngest partners, and concurrently, one of the most respected CPAs in upstate New York serving the construction, real estate development, and manufacturing industries. Scott is also a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).

Primarily serving mid-market privately held companies Scott has achieved success as a result of his ability to move well beyond the traditional role of auditor. As his clients will tell you, he is perhaps the best embodiment of the Firm’s & More philosophy, as he sees his responsibility as an advisor and partner working together to make the client as profitable as possible. Often, this means organizing the resources of Bonadio on behalf of his clients to ensure that their assets will both grow and be protected.

Scott is also an active participant in the Firm’s professional and personal development program, teaching both technical and management development courses.

Scott has three children, Joshua, Adam and Alexis. (Alexis was adopted from Russia!) In his free time you might find him:

by the water…he enjoys waterskiing, swimming, scuba diving and boating

putting his motivational skills to the test…Scott is the manager of the Bonadio co-ed softball team
