Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk Management / Rochester, New York

The Bonadio Group  --  a  regional top 100 accounting and consulting firm with offices across Upstate NY is in search of a Senior Manager to help lead its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)/ Consulting Group. 

Responsibilities will include client development as well as management and participation in engagements in one of the following specialty areas:

 1) operational and performance improvement, business re-engineering and turnaround consulting

2) ERM, outsourced internal audit support, SOX

3) software selection and installation project management, data analysis, business intelligence and data management techniques. 

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver assignments to high level of client satisfaction and within budget
  • Develop relevant recommendations and solutions to improve efficiency and mitigate areas of risk
  • Project manage and provide necessary support to clients during periods of change
  • Work with clients to meet multi-industry regulatory and compliance obligations
  • Maintains a trusted, collaborative relationship with organization management to promote an appropriate level of  engagement in ERM activities
  • Provides guidance and assistance to business units with the identification, evaluation, understanding, management, and communication of significant risks.
  • Partners with business unit management to prepare risk self-assessments, including analyzing the stated controls, identifying gaps, and creating action plans.

  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of information technology, particularly how systems and applications integrate with business processes and operations (e.g., information technology risks, major systems conversions) preferred.

Education /Experience/Certfications:

·         The ideal candidate will have current expertise in the areas of healthcare non-profit, government, and commercial industries.

  •  Candidates must have minimum of BS in Accounting or other relevant Business discipline

·         CPA

·         8+ years experience working in relevant Enterprise Risk Management consulting services in public accounting or consulting environment

 

Hours/Location:

  • This is a full-time opportunity located in Pittsford, New York
  • Office hours are 8am - 5pm with ability to work additional hours as necessary (inclusive of Saturdays)
