Rochester, N.Y., November 13, 2019—Bruce Zicari, Managing Partner and CEO of The Bonadio Group, along with his family, recently hosted a wine dinner and fundraiser to help those impacted by cancer. This second annual event raised approximately $70,000 and brought together nearly 150 attendees.
After his sister Nancy Zicari-Infantino passed away from breast cancer in 2002, Bruce and his family founded Nancy & Friends Fighting Cancer, an organization dedicated to funding cancer research and providing financial assistance to those affected by helping cover expenses not paid by insurance. The organization’s Wine Dinner & Fundraiser, which took place at Tournedos Steakhouse in Rochester, N.Y., and featured both live and silent auction items, was held in support of the organization’s mission.
“We are so grateful to everyone who came to the event and donated in honor of Nancy and all those who have been affected by cancer,” said Zicari. “Our hope is that this contribution will alleviate some of the financial burden families in our community face when fighting cancer.”
