The Bonadio Group’s Buffalo office welcomes R. J. Genovese, CPA, to the firm’s practice as partner. In this role, he will apply more than two decades of experience in public accounting serving a broad range of industries including manufacturing, life sciences, and healthcare.

As partner at the Bonadio Group, R.J. builds on a broad background in public accounting advising companies on acquisitions, restructurings, and debt financings, as well as analyzing and advising on the implications of tax reform legislation and regulations. His role includes federal and state income tax compliance for multiple business entities including multistate consolidated groups, limited liability companies and partnerships. R.J. counsels clients with ASC 740 Accounting for Income Tax matters and has often consulted on IRS/state audits to resolve complex tax issues.
Previously at Deloitte Tax, LLP in Buffalo, R.J. is a graduate of Canisius College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
