Nancy Snyder and Kate Kenney Recognized at women of excellence 2019 award

At Bonadio, we’re passionate about supporting the development and success of our outstanding female colleagues. Last week, we had the honor of celebrating two amazing women at the Rochester Business Journal's Women of Excellence awards celebration: Nancy Snyder, partner at The Bonadio Group and co-team leader of its Healthcare/Tax-Exempt division, and Kate Kenney, partner at ProNexus, LLC.

"The 2019 Women of Excellence honorees demonstrate hard work, professional success, leadership and a relentless commitment to making the Rochester community the best place to live and work," said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of the Rochester Business Journal. "Most importantly, they are paving the way for future generations of women who know they can achieve anything. The Rochester Business Journal is pleased to honor these remarkable women."

Established in 2018, the Women of Excellence awards recognize high-achieving women for their professional experience, community involvement, leadership and sustained commitment to mentoring.

Nancy’s experience includes providing more than 30 years of professional services to a variety of tax-exempt organizations, including those funded by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and foundations funded by public donations and corporate grants. She is a past board member/treasurer of NAMI Rochester, past finance committee and board of trustee member of Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity, and past treasurer and board member of Lakeside Health Systems. Nancy is also a member of United Way Women’s Leadership Group and was a past recipient of the Rochester Business Journal's Forty Under 40 award.

Kate’s leadership has helped ProNexus reach impressive heights. The firm was listed at No. 115 on the Inc. 5000 in 2016, has been a Rochester Top 100 company twice and received an ETHIE award in 2017. In addition to growing ProNexus, Kate has shown impressive commitment to helping others, both with mentoring and community service. She is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Exploration Series, which provides authentic mentoring for women from professionals, and is a former chair of the summit event for the Rochester Women’s Network.

“We’re proud to have such exemplary partners in and supporting our organization and the Rochester community,” said Bruce Zicari, managing partner and CEO at Bonadio. “Congratulations to all of the Women of Excellence honorees who inspire and empower others through their actions every day.”
