Bruce Zicari Takes the Helm Today as CEO of The Bonadio Group

Rochester, N.Y., May 1, 2019—Today marks a milestone for The Bonadio Group, a nationally-ranked Top 40 CPA firm, as Bruce Zicari begins his tenure as the firm’s new CEO. Tom Bonadio has held the position of CEO since he founded the company in 1978.
Today’s appointment is the culmination of a CEO succession plan that was announced three years ago. Bonadio will serve as a senior consultant to the firm.
Zicari joined the firm in 1996 as a principal when Zicari and Co. LLP merged with The Bonadio Group. He has held a series of senior-level positions, including serving as a member of the firm’s management committee since 2011. Zicari most recently was the Rochester Office Managing Partner and partner in charge of the Small Business Advisory Group.
Over the past 40 years, The Bonadio Group has grown to more than $115 million in revenue and more than 800 employees. The firm has locations throughout upstate New York, as well as in metro New York, Vermont, and Dallas.
