After hitting record highs in 2021, strategic and financial buyers continue to heavily pursue middle-market M&A transactions across numerous industries in the United States. There are still vast amounts of “dry powder” held by private equity funds, and large amounts of cash held by corporate buyers coming out of the pandemic.
