The Bonadio Group Continues Growth Trajectory, Promotes Four New Partners within the Firm

Firm also adds more than 60 new hires and celebrates over 150 promotions

Rochester, N.Y., January 4, 2022 – Effective January 1, 2022, nationally ranked Top 50 CPA firm, The Bonadio Group, promoted four employees to the Partner level. New Partners include Kevin Rhode and Samantha Schafer in Rochester, New York; as well as Keeley Ann Hines and Kristin Kowalski in Syracuse, New York.

• Kevin Rhode, CPA, is a Partner in the firm’s Commercial Practice, providing coordination and management of financial statement audits and other asset services including financial statement reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures engagements. He works closely with large-to-middle-market clients in a range of industries including manufacturing, fuel and energy, service providers and financial institutions, and with portfolio companies of private equity groups and entities with multi-national operations.

• Samantha Schafer, CPA, is a Partner in the firm’s Small Business Advisory Division, providing a full range of accounting, tax and consulting services to a variety of small and medium-sized businesses including financial statement reviews, compilations, income tax preparation and planning, business start-up, budgeting, financial plans, and projections, as well as Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and New York State audit representation.

• Keeley Ann Hines, CPA, is a Partner in the firm’s Government Division and member of the Single Audit Advisory Committee, providing auditing and accounting services to a variety of clients including municipalities, public authorities, school districts and other tax-exempt entities. She has extensive knowledge and experience with Government Accounting Standards Board pronouncements and federal compliance requirements, as well as Government Auditing Standards and Uniform Guidance.

• Kristin Kowalski, CPA, is a Partner in the firm’s Tax Practice and provides tax compliance and advisory services for businesses ranging from large corporations to closely held family organizations. She is also a member of the firm’s cannabis and industrial hemp team.
