Marie’s primary role as Regional Managing Partner is to bring The Bonadio Group culture to the Wilmington office and the Delaware Valley community as a whole. She is passionate about creating and adopting innovative ways to operate the business. She is also committed to developing and encouraging the staff’s growth as leaders and mentors, experts in their chosen specialty, and advocates for providing best-in-class advice, service and value to clients. Marie has worked in public accounting for over 30 years. Her extensive experience in tax compliance and tax planning has allowed her to assist many clients in addressing a wide variety of tax situations. She has always been focused on finding tax-advantaged solutions for clients to influence future growth and sustainability.
Marie is deeply connected to the Delaware community. She is active in the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, where she has served on several committees and was elected to the Board of Directors. In 2021, she was named Board Member of the Year and is the former Board Chair. Marie has also been recognized on the Delaware Business Times 222 list. Marie has also volunteered or served on the boards of organizations such as the AICPA, PPLIP, Newark Day Nursery, UD New Directions Head Start, Newark Morning Rotary, and many others.
She considers raising her three children with her husband, Al, as her greatest accomplishment in life. She enjoys spending time with her family in South Bethany Beach, playing golf, reading and exercising.
