Melissa is a principal in the Assurance Division and has extensive experience in not-for-profit accounting and auditing. While she works with various tax-exempt clients, she has significant experience with agencies in the human services industry. She regularly consults with her clients and colleagues on accounting and auditing standards, best practice recommendations, efficiency ideas, and compliance initiatives.
When not working, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She lives in the country with her husband and two children and enjoys camping, quilting, and baking. As an active community member, Melissa serves as Board Treasurer for the Geneseo Parish Outreach Center and secretary for the local Cub Scout Pack. She values the people she has met and the relationships she has developed during her career here at The Bonadio Group.
