Background & Expertise

Rob Zielinski is a partner in the firm’s Tax Practice. He joined The Bonadio Group after spending more than 13 years with the Rochester office of PricewaterhouseCoopers as a tax director. Rob also worked for more than five years with Arthur Andersen as a tax manager.
Rob is responsible for coordinating and delivering a wide variety of tax services, including business tax compliance, tax planning, tax consulting, and income tax provision engagements. He has extensive experience working in the ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes area, both as an auditor and as a consultant, for publicly-traded and privately-held companies across multiple industries. He also has significant experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to foreign-owned U.S. businesses, consolidated corporate groups, S corporations and partnerships.
Rob served for 23 years in the U.S. Army Reserve, which included a tour as a military advisor to the Afghan National Army. He earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in accounting at Binghamton University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Rob also serves on the United Way of Greater Rochester Community Investment Cabinet.
