Steve is responsible for business development, geographic expansion activities, and coordinating the firm's industry specialists to ensure our clients are best serviced within our Service Providers Industry. The firm's Service Providers Industry comprises both Consumer Services and Professional Services clients such as Auto and Other Equipment Dealers, Engineering and Professional Firms, and Retail and Restaurant Industries. Steve leverages his knowledge and experience in the Service Providers Industry while working collaboratively with the firm's other professionals to ensure the most experienced and appropriate professionals best serve the firm's clients.
Steve stays current on technical matters and business concerns related to the sectors within the Service Providers industry while ensuring that the firm's professionals are well-trained to handle our clients' specific business needs. He is also responsible for identifying new ways the firm can best help new and existing clients grow and respond to changing business needs.
Steve works closely with various clients in the Service Providers, Manufacturing and Distribution, and Real Estate industries, both domestically and internationally held public and privately-held companies. His client-service responsibilities include the overall coordination and oversight of financial statement audits, other attest services, and ad-hoc consulting projects. He also has experience in transaction-based projects. Additionally, Steve has experience auditing numerous employee benefit plans for both SEC-registered and privately-held companies. Steve also has extensive consulting experience with CARES Act programs, including Employee Retention Credits and other incentives.
Steve is passionate about music, cars, real estate, and meeting new people. As the Treasurer of the Board of Directors of ArtPark in Lewiston, NY, he gets to blend his passion for music with his experience as a finance and accounting professional. He also stays actively connected with his alma mater through his role as Chair of the University at Buffalo Accounting Advisory Council. He loves spending time with his sweetheart and their two girls.
