Steven Morse leads the Bonadio Higher Education Internal Audit Team, which provides an array of internal audit services that are specifically designed to improve compliance, internal controls and efficiency for colleges and universities.

Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Steve was the assistant vice president for Finance and Budget at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, a college of the Rochester Institute of Technology. Previous to that assignment, he was the RIT chief audit executive for more than a decade. His past work also includes senior management leadership positions at Genesee Corporation and Deloitte, and adjunct teaching assignments at the RIT Saunders College of Business and the SUNY College at Brockport.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the Saunders College of Business at RIT and is a New York State licensed Certified Public Accountant. Steve also holds the certification of Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the National Association of College and University Business Officers. Steve has served his community in various capacities with the following organizations: the Rochester School for the Deaf, the Susan B. Anthony House and Museum, the New York Museum of Transportation, Shepherd Home, Browncroft Community Church, and the Penfield Fire Company.
