At The Bonadio Group, we know that taking time to unplug and recharge is essential to maintaining balance and bringing your best self to work. In this spirit, our offices close annually for the week of Independence Day, giving our People the opportunity to fully step away, relax, and return with a refreshed mindset.
Every year, our People use this time to take once-in-a-lifetime vacations, reconnect with nature, spend quality time with family and friends, or simply slow down and enjoy a change of pace. When we return to the office, the halls are filled with stories of these priceless memories as we settle back into our routine as trusted business advisors.
Take a look at how some of our People spent this year’s firmwide closure.
“I went to the Adirondack Mountains with my family, which helped me relax and recharge. Grateful to work at The Bonadio Group and enjoy this much-needed quality time every year.” –Amanda Nucci, Manager
“A firmwide shutdown done right. I spent my week catching great weather on the water, hitting the golf course, playing with my dogs, watching the World Cup, and catching up with family and friends. There’s nothing quite like a company culture that genuinely respects and encourages downtime!” –Alex Kingston, Principal
“I spent the week with my husband at our camp on the St. Lawrence River. The week was filled with boat rides, fishing, fires, and sunsets. It was a great time disconnecting and simply relaxing!” –Ashley
“I relaxed and recharged with a girls’ week at Lake George with family.” –Kristin Gharzouzi, Manager
“We went on a family vacation to Maine and ate a lot of seafood while soaking up the sun.” –Nikki and Alex
“I spent time with family between Buffalo and Rochester and enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the pool.” –Marissa Hersey, Supervisor
