Michael is a Partner and the Statewide Practice Leader for the firm’s Commercial Division, which includes the firm’s privately held and public companies. He is responsible for the direction and oversight of the commercial practice activities, including coordination of strategic middle-market initiatives throughout the state. Michael’s background includes conducting traditional financial statement assurance engagements and providing a wide range of transaction advisory services for both public and private companies. Michael serves clients in the manufacturing, construction, emerging technologies and distribution industries.

Michael received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Rochester in 1999 and received a Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in finance and accounting from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester in 2004. In addition to his credentials as a Certified Public Accountant, Michael has earned the Certified Valuation Analyst designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Club, Rochester Legal Aid Society and Venture Jobs Foundation.
