Nancy Cox CPA - Partner
Nancy is a partner in the firm’s commercial division. She is responsible for audit, review and compilation engagements for various entities, including auto dealerships, broker/dealers, hotels and real estate development companies. She is also responsible for the audits of numerous employee benefit plans, including defined contribution plans, employee stock ownership plans, health & welfare plans and 11-K filings. She also has experience in the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns. Nancy is on the Bonadio Group 401k Plan Committee and co-leading the Bonadio Firm Wide Employee Benefit Plan Audit efficiency team.
Prior to her employment with Bonadio, Nancy was an auditor with KPMG, LLP in Pittsburgh, PA. She spent most of her time at KPMG performing financial statement audits and audits of internal control over financial reporting for financial institutions in Western Pennsylvania.
Nancy was raised in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and received her B.A. degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Nancy is a graduate of The Bonadio Group’s signature leadership development program, the Bonadio Leadership University. She is a member of the Frontier Central School District Audit Committee, the Board of Directors for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and on the Advisory Committee for the Hamburg School District Academy of Finance. Nancy is a member of the Ambassador Committee for Child and Family Services, on the Board of Directors of The Family Justice Center of Erie County, the Board of Directors of the Risk Management Association – Buffalo Chapter and a member of the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of Sales and Marketing Executives. She is also on the Alumni Board of Thiel College and an active member of Leadership Buffalo.
