Heather joined Dorfman-Robbie, CPAs, P.C. in 1998, and became part of The Bonadio Group in 2008 when Dorfman-Robbie merged with The Bonadio Group. She has been a partner since 2006, and is tax director of the Albany office where she oversees the tax department.

Heather’s degrees in both accounting and law serve her especially well in the area of tax and estate planning. Her breadth of knowledge and experience in the areas of income taxation of individuals, multi-state issues, commercial businesses, tax-exempt organizations, trusts, and overall tax issues make her an integral part of our tax team. Her knowledge crosses over multiple industries with a concentration of experience in construction, real estate development and not-for-profit.

Heather received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego; her Masters of Accountancy from the University of South Florida; and her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School. Her professional memberships include the New York State Bar Association, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Junior League of Schenectady and Saratoga Counties.
